Travel Plans for 2017?

I have been fairly adept at scouring for flight promo deals, booking hotels, and arranging the itinerary for our trips for the past 6 or so travelyears. November of 2016 was our first travel abroad via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Although this is not the first time for me to visit KL, the trip was extra special because I get to visit it with the person I love.

Anyway, for this 2017 our goal is still to snag that cheap flight to another Asian/ASEAN destination. So far there’s still a drought of flight sales but I am looking out for trips to the following destinations:

  • Hongkong
  • Macau
  • Bangkok
  • Jakarta
  • Bali
  • Seoul
  • Maldives (bit of a stretch but I am dreaming big!)

This blog was never setup as a travel blog but I will be very happy to share my experiences in my previous and future travels, so watch out for that.

I am positive that I will get that seat sale soon. I have not failed so far.

How about you? What are your travel plans for the year?

Shots are not postcard perfect as I would have expected.  I admit I’m not much of an adventurous photographer, I am unable to muster the strength to just “go in” and take those one-of-a-kind shots.

Anyway, here’s my Masskara set. Enjoy. 🙂

Out of this world

Why so sad?

Smile naman dyan.

Back from the chaos

I’m tired and I’m sick. I’m back from the craziness called the Masskara festival.  Oh and I had to work just so I’d get a “free” ticket to the City of Smiles. Pretending to know what the ppt slide tells your audience is hard work.

Our last day was my last ditch effort to get decent pictures. Thank god for the miracle that is the digital camera. I would have wasted gazillion rolls and still I won’t come up with decent photos. Hopefully Bridget’s DSLR won’t get corroded with all the sweat gushing out of my body. The heat was terrible. And there are people everywhere. No wonder I have a cold now.

The flight back was hellish, because I had no idea what was going on inside my ears. They were ready to pop, I was in pain and I didn’t know what to do. The early onset of the cold must’ve messed mu ears. But the last minute I managed to balance the pressure inside my ears. A minute more and I would have been deaf.

Lousy photos to follow. I’m still contemplating if I’d go to work tomorrow. I still feel like I’ve been beaten up.

Oh, the darn pretty Masskaras are expensive! I had to settle for the cheap paper mache version.

Litratong Pinoy # 20: Liwaliw

Food, Bacolod Style

I had a grand time visiting Bacolod two weeks ago. We had a training and more than that, yummy yummy food.

Unfortunately, since I was not prepared to do a food blog entry, I only managed to take two snaps of the feast we had:

spicy. deadly.
melts-in-your-mouth yum
melts-in-your-mouth yum
We also had scallops which I think was the culprit behind my elevated blood pressure levels. I got dizzy and forgot to take pics, unfortunately.
Can’t wait to visit Bacolod again!
